Our crown thinning service helps to maintain the existing shape of your tree.
Crown thinning is typically used to maintain the existing shape of a tree whilst increasing the amount of light through the canopy. Often specific in percentage (ie. 30%), crown thinning is carried out by removing secondary branches to allow more light through the canopy.
Thinning may sometimes include a degree of crown reduction where there are particularly heavy areas of branches that break the natural shape of the tree, although care is taken to ensure this process generally does not change the overall size or shape of the tree.

Thanks once again to Dan and Ross.I purchased a house about two years ago (a huge renovation) and I was recommended to Bromley Tree and Garden Care to initially clear the garden and reshape the trees etc. Just invited them back to reduce a large Silver Birch and Apple tree. We have used they service when we bought the house in CR0. After they gave us a quote, the quote was reasonable, they came on time and they did a great job by cutting all the trees on our massive garden . Ross and he’s team was very friendly and professional keeping areas very clean during and after work . Excellent service. Very prompt to provide a reasonable quote. They arrived on time on the day and did a very professional job on our and our neighbors trees as agreed with a few other little extras. They tidied up behind and were very careful not to cause any damage with some of the higher branches. We are having them back for more substantial trees in the near future.

I needed my trees cut back and Ross and the team came and did an excellent job, they even went around to my neighbour to ensure everything was tidied up from her side which was greatly appreciated. I couldn't recommend them more. Also the garden both front and back was left clean and tidy.

Ross and his guys were professional and courteous throughout the process. I called and he arrived on time to assess the job which was stripping an old unkempt piece of overgrown land that constituted my back garden levelling it and laying new turf. the area was approximately 120 square metres. They quoted me a price later the same day and we agreed a date for the work. They arrived in time and worked extremely quickly to strip and level the ground with topsoil on the first day. The second day they layed the turf and the third day just passwd by in the morning to check that everything was ok and lay some bedding compost. The quality of the turf is exceptional and it took root within a week after plenty of watering. I now have a lawn that feels like a carpet - literally. I couldnt be happier with the job. Ross even gave me some advice on plants and spent his own time helping me to select some shrubs at the local garden centre. Five stars! Ray Hoare

Ross and his team were total professionals. During the initial look round Ross clearly knew his stuff and was really helpful with discussing what needed to be done and giving his advice.Throughout the work his team were very careful and considerate. I happened to mention that our patio was new and before I knew it, protection was laid down to make sure it stayed in perfect condition.We’re extremely pleased with the end result and will definitely use them again in future. They've made a lovely job of this area, not easy as it is on a slope.

Ross and 2 other nice guys removed a large privet hedge on the boundary of my property, a nice clean job was done. it left a long bare earth bed, which I wasn't sure what to do with. Ross came back and suggested slate on top of weed surpressing membrane with yew topiary shrubs.
They've made a lovely job of this area, not easy as it is on a slope.
would definitely recommend them.

These guys done great on the tree in my garden. It looked like a challenging job however the team come in and got it done in a day! They are trustworthy & professional.Friendly team & delivered exactly what they promised me upon valuation - which was a flat surface after taking out a huge stump in the ground with NO DAMAGE!!

It’s never easy to trust someone to come into your home and do work but luckily Gordon and his team made it easy from the get go. Really impressed with the removal of our tree. The price was good and communication excellent. They arrived right on time and started immediately and didn’t seem to stop until all done.
