Where are you based?

Bromley Tree & Garden Care Ltd is based in Petts Wood, Orpington.

We cover all of Bromley, Orpington and surrounding areas such as Sidcup, Bexley and Sevenoaks. Depending on your requirements we are able to cover most of the South East, including London, Essex, Surrey and Sussex.

Are you qualified?

The team have qualifications across all aspects of tree maintenance, felling, aerial cutting, tree climbing and tree rescue – all obtained through City & Guilds / NPTC. (“NPTC” stands for the National Proficiency Test Council and they are the most widely recognised training organisation in the tree industry.)

Are you insured?

Yes, our business and all of our work is covered by insurance with a £5 million public liability cover.

The team at Bromley Tree & Garden Care Ltd are all experienced professionals that take safety as a top priority. A site risk assessment is completed on all jobs.

How much are your services?

We pride ourselves on providing a friendly and professional service at a competitive price. All jobs are quoted in writing and personalised to meet your specific requirements as we need to account for various factors including surrounding fences, sheds, green houses, plus location, accessibility and size of the job. Is my tree protected?

Your tree may be protected if it is covered by what’s known as a “Tree Preservation Order” or if it is within a Conservation Area. We can assist in quickly checking if the tree is covered by a Tree Preservation Order.

Do you help with Tree Preservation Orders?

Yes, where a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) consent is required, we’re able to assist with the process and submit the application on your behalf. We’re proud to say that we have a fantastic success rate in gaining approvals, so please get in touch to discuss in more detail.

What happens to the timber on tree surgery work?

Unless you have advised that you’d like to keep the timber (e.g. for use as firewood), we will ensure that all timber and waste is safely and properly disposed of at registered sites, and recycled where possible. Large branches will be processed through our chipping machine and disposed of (unless you’d like to keep them). This is all covered within the cost of your quote.

What happens to the garden waste on garden care work?

We will ensure that all garden waste is responsibly disposed of, leaving your garden clear and tidy upon completion of our work. This is all covered within the cost of your quote.

Will I need to be home?

If we are able to access the area where the works are being completed, you will not need to be home, but we are always very happy to see clients on site to ensure works are carried out to your entire satisfaction. However if through access is required, we ask that you are present until completion of the job.

How do we pay?

In most situations, no payment is required in advance. We will provide an invoice promptly upon completion of the work, you are able to pay by cash or online banking upon receipt of the invoice.

We have used they service when we bought the house in CR0. After they gave us a quote, the quote was reasonable, they came on time and they did a great job by cutting all the trees on our massive garden . Ross and he’s team was very friendly and professional keeping areas very clean during and after work . Excellent service. Very prompt to provide a reasonable quote. They arrived on time on the day and did a very professional job on our and our neighbors trees as agreed with a few other little extras. They tidied up behind and were very careful not to cause any damage with some of the higher branches. We are having them back for more substantial trees in the near future.

Ross and his guys were professional and courteous throughout the process. I called and he arrived on time to assess the job which was stripping an old unkempt piece of overgrown land that constituted my back garden levelling it and laying new turf. the area was approximately 120 square metres. They quoted me a price later the same day and we agreed a date for the work. They arrived in time and worked extremely quickly to strip and level the ground with topsoil on the first day. The second day they layed the turf and the third day just passwd by in the morning to check that everything was ok and lay some bedding compost. The quality of the turf is exceptional and it took root within a week after plenty of watering. I now have a lawn that feels like a carpet - literally. I couldnt be happier with the job. Ross even gave me some advice on plants and spent his own time helping me to select some shrubs at the local garden centre. Five stars!

Ross’s responses to my initial contact were timely and practical, and as a customer I knew where I stood. Ross and his team were total professionals. During the initial look round Ross clearly knew his stuff and was really helpful with discussing what needed to be done and giving his advice.Throughout the work his team were very careful and considerate. I happened to mention that our patio was new and before I knew it, protection was laid down to make sure it stayed in perfect condition.We’re extremely pleased with the end result and will definitely use them again in future. Ross and 2 other nice guys removed a large privet hedge on the boundary of my property, a nice clean job was done. it left a long bare earth bed, which I wasn't sure what to do with.

Ross came back and suggested slate on top of weed surpressing membrane with yew topiary shrubs.
They've made a lovely job of this area, not easy as it is on a slope.
would definitely recommend them.

These guys done great on the tree in my garden. It looked like a challenging job however the team come in and got it done in a day! They are trustworthy & professional.Friendly team & delivered exactly what they promised me upon valuation - which was a flat surface after taking out a huge stump in the ground with NO DAMAGE!!

I’d highly recommend Bromley Tree and Garden care for any work you require. They guys arrived promptly to both quote and complete the work we required once we agree a mutual date. It’s never easy to trust someone to come into your home and do work but luckily Gordon and his team made it easy from the get go.
