Specialist Crown Reduction in Petts Wood

At Bromley Tree & Garden Care, we understand that every tree and location is unique. Our crown reduction service is carried out by fully qualified and insured arborists, ensuring the best results for both the health of your tree and the safety of your property.

How Crown Reduction Works

Crown reduction involves carefully cutting back the outer branches of a tree, reducing the overall size of its canopy both laterally and vertically. This helps prevent trees from outgrowing their space, limits encroachment on neighbouring properties or buildings and allows more natural light to reach your garden. We measure reductions precisely, usually in metres, to achieve a balanced and natural look.

Our Process

We begin with an initial consultation to understand your requirements and assess the tree. Our team will then arrange a convenient time for a site visit in Petts Wood, where we evaluate the tree’s health, structure and surroundings. After this, we provide a detailed, no-obligation quote. On the day of service, we carry out all works safely, adhering to industry best practices. All waste is cleared from site, leaving your garden tidy.

Aftercare and Advice

We’re always available to offer advice on ongoing tree care, and can assist with further maintenance such as crown thinning, deadwooding or hedge care. If your tree is covered by a Tree Preservation Order (TPO), we can help with all the necessary paperwork to ensure you remain compliant. Trust us to keep your trees in Petts Wood looking their best, year after year.
